The sweet corn is on the shelves, we're knee deep in peaches, and the vegetable garden is bursting!

It's just incredible what a difference a week makes. The vegetables from the garden include tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, all kinds of peppers and eggplant. We're still picking red raspberries and we have blueberries too. The peaches are coming in strong now. The white peaches are winding up for a short time. Sweet corn is picked daily.

And don't forget the apples! We're up to three varieties now. Ask for a sample.

The farm market is open daily from 9:30 to 5:30. If you have any questions, please call (845) 255-0693.

Apples are here!

The first apples of the season are in! Tydeman apples are similar to McIntosh but are better to cook with. The Ginger Gold are a sweet apple similar to Golden Delicious but not quite as sweet. If you are looking for an apple to make sauce with but prefer not to add sugar, the Ginger Gold is the choice for now.

The apples are sold by the pound or basket at the Farm Market.

Keep checking the blog for updates as more varieties become available. We have 24 varieities.

The next variety will be Jonamacs. They should be ready in about a week.

The 2007 peach crop is so good! I used the ones labeled "ripe" and made peach cobbler. Another night we had peaches with raspberries over dessert shells and topped it with whipped cream-so good!

The Farm Market is open with yellow and white peaches sold by the pound or basket. And so many goodies from the garden. Squash, peppers, cucumbers, cabbage and a customer favorite green beans! And don't forget a dozen ears of corn for supper.

Take home a pint of ice cream to go with your peaches, raspberries or blueberries. The ice cream shop is open daily noon to 9 pm.

Any questions, give us a call at (845) 255-0693 or email debdressel@aol.com

Have a great day!

The Farm Market is coming alive again. Starting today we have the first of this year's apples for sale. If you aren't familiar with the variety, ask Luisa for a taste. We continue to sell our own farm fresh peaches (yellow and white). They are available for sale in different sizes to suit your needs.

Along side of the peaches you will find nectarines, raspberries, blueberries. Ronald is busy picking the vegetables from the garden. Look for tomatoes, summer squash, green beans and new this year-Jamaican peppers. He tells me they are very hot!

Don't forget to take home some sweet corn for supper!

The Farm Market is open daily from 9:30 to 5:30. See you there!

P.S. Tim and Elizabeth have just about completed the corn maze to their liking. Be one of the first to give it a try.
