U-PICK UPDATE-We are in our final days for u-pick strawberries. There are berries to pick. You may find them a little smaller because of the lateness of the season. We are hoping to keep u-pick open through this week.
The hours are:
Everyday 8am to noon.
Thursday and Friday nights 6pm to 8pm.
The cost is $1.95 per pound. This is a savings from buying them at the farm market.
FARM MARKET NEWS: We now have (in addition to fresh picked strawberries) raspberries, cherries and blueberries! Open every day 9:30-5:30.
ICE CREAM: Offering fresh strawberry sundaes and shakes! Open Sundays through Thursday noon to 9pm and open later on Fridays and Saturdays 'til 10pm.

PATCH UPDATES FOR THURSDAY, JUNE 24: The strawberry u-pick will be open this evening for picking from 6-8pm. The berries are plentiful. Containers to pick into are available at the patch and are free. The cost is $1.95 per pound.

U-PICK STRAWBERRIES: Open daily 8am to noon. On Thursdays and Fridays the patch is open at night from 6pm to 8pm. The cost is $1.95 per pound (approximately $3.25 per quart depending on how you top your quarts). Containers are provided free of charge and are available at the patch.

Berry Patch update: The weather seems to have made a turn for the better. The strawberry patch is open and there are plenty of berries to pick. You may notice a few softer berries but there are beautiful berries for your basket. A word of advice-the picking is never going to be any better than it is this week. As time progresses, the size of the berry decreases. Usually our season ends around July 4.

Thursday, June 18- U-pick strawberry evening picking WILL BE CLOSED DUE TO RAIN AND PATCH CONDITIONS. After watching the weather and checking the patch, the decision has been made to CLOSE the strawberry patch to u-pick for tonight's picking.
IT WILL REOPEN TOMORROW (FRIDAY, JUNE 19) AT 8 AM. and remain open until noon. (The weather report is for a drier day.)
Rain is predicted again for tomorrow evening. Let's hope the weather report improves!

IMPORTANT: Please stop at the farm market for directions to the day's patch. We move around to different patches to provide u-pick customers with the best picking.

STRAWBERRY UPDATE: Due to the cold weather, the berries are ripening slowly. Check with us on Monday, June 8 either by email, phone (255-0693), blog or stop by the ice cream shop for more info.
The farm market will likely be open early next week (Tuesday June 9 or Wednes. June 10) with strawberries. HOWEVER, THE U-PICK WILL PROBABLY BE ANOTHER WEEK YET.
REMEMBER-THE WEATHER IS A BIG FACTOR IN WHEN WE OPEN WITH BERRIES.
Updates will continue as new information arrives.

We check the patches every day and things change depending on weather.
