PYO Preview

September is practically here, but there's still a little time to wait for PYO. Pick-Your-Own will begin Saturday, September 12th and continue every Saturday and Sunday (as well as Columbus Day Monday) through October.

Varieties available for the first weekend include: MacIntosh, Jonamac, Gala and Honeycrisp. If you're looking for Honeycrisp, come early! The trees are small and the demand is high, so we expect all of them to be picked in the first weekend.

For a more complete list of varieties and their harvest date, visit www.dresselfarms.com/pickyourown.

As always, the roadstand is still open with all our summer produce operating on normal summer hours. And don't forget your ice cream!

Where did the summer go?

It's almost September which means we're gearing up for apple harvest! We've picked two early varieties- Gingergold and Tydeman- both of which are currently available at the roadstand, along with some Bartlet Pears. We will be picking Jonamacs this weekend and we should have McIntosh and Honeycrisp by Labor Day. Keep checking back for updates as they arrive.

We still have fresh sweet corn, peaches, nectarines, tomatoes, and raspberries, along with other fresh vegitables available at the roadstand. Hours remain the same as usual.

The rain has finally taken a break and we've had some great growing days. Peaches are coming into full swing this week, with plenty of both yellow and white peaches for you to buy at the roadstand. We also still have blueberries, sweet corn, fresh vegetables and more! Pick-Your-Own will begin again after Labor Day with Apples and Pumpkins.

We're also thrilled to have another new-born baby goat! That brings the total up to 3 babies- a white one, a brown one and a black one. Swing by, grab an ice cream cone and watch them frolic in their new pen.

Hours remain the same:
Roadstand:
9:30 - 5:30 daily

Ice Cream:
Noon - 9 (Sunday - Thursday)
Noon - 10 (Friday and Saturday)

Peaches are here!

That's right! It's officially peach season and the roadstand has reopened with our very own farm-fresh yellow and white peaches. In addition to peaches, we also now have nectarines, sweet corn, blueberries and a few raspberries as well as fresh vegetables straight from our own garden. Hours remain the same: daily from 9:30am till 5:30pm, so be sure to come by.

As always, the ice cream stand is open daily noon-9pm and stays open later on the weekends. So why not indulge a little bit with a sundae made with fresh peaches?

If you're looking for apples, they're almost here! Early varieties (Ginger Gold and Tydeman) are only about a week away! Pick your own will open in September, so start getting excited...we know we are! Keep checking this site for important updates.
