End of February

Just a note to let our customers know that our seasoned wood supply is dwindling. We have some wood left but will no longer be selling it by the truckload. It is available in two sizes, small bins for $20 and 1/4 cord bin size for $45.

The young goats are adapting well to their new surroundings. They are really cute!

The Farm Market is open daily. Those of you who enjoy Fuji, Empire and Golden Delicious are in luck. We opened a CA room and these varieities are crisp and flavorful.

Plans are in the works for the 6th opening of the ice cream stand on Sunday, May 11. New this year will be (if all works out) soft-serve yogurt. More news as this develops.

Plans are also in the works for planting grapevines this spring. Some of you may have noticed some trees along Phillies Bridge being taken down. This is to make way for grapes.

As always, if you have any questions give us a call (845) 255-0693.

Exciting news! Five baby goats were born over the past month. The nursery got too crowded so now they are in our "petting zoo" area. They are a lot of fun to watch! They will stay until the first of April and then be moved to greener pastures. Stop by and be entertained.

The winter showroom is open seven days. With Valentines Day just around the corner, pick up a peck of apples and make your special someone an apple crisp. It's easy. For a 13 x 9 pan, fill the pan with apple slices, drizzle a little apple cider over top. Then for the topping, mix together two cups of flour, one cup brown sugar, two sticks of butter, some cinnamon and a little nutmeg.
Spread this mixture over the slices of apples and bake (350 degrees) until apple slices are tender. (This is about twenty minutes or so.)

Enjoy your day! As always, if you have any questions you can call us at (845) 255-0693.
