We are hard at work pruning the trees, preparing the ground for new crops, fixing equipment-all in anticipation of spring coming.
Apples and cider are still available at the warehouse store. If you are looking for a special favorite, you can call before you make the trip. Our phone number is (845) 255-0693. Some of the varieties we have on the shelves now include Empire, Cortland, Fuji, Golden and Red Delicious, Jonagold and Rome.
Firewood and straw are for sale as well.
The Ice Cream Shop will be opening on Mother's Day, May 11 at noon. We are excited to be offering new items this year. More news to come as it all starts coming together!
U-pick is still at least two months away. Our next u-pick will begin some time in June with strawberries. As time gets closer, news will be posted.

End of February
Just a note to let our customers know that our seasoned wood supply is dwindling. We have some wood left but will no longer be selling it by the truckload. It is available in two sizes, small bins for $20 and 1/4 cord bin size for $45.
The young goats are adapting well to their new surroundings. They are really cute!
The Farm Market is open daily. Those of you who enjoy Fuji, Empire and Golden Delicious are in luck. We opened a CA room and these varieities are crisp and flavorful.
Plans are in the works for the 6th opening of the ice cream stand on Sunday, May 11. New this year will be (if all works out) soft-serve yogurt. More news as this develops.
Plans are also in the works for planting grapevines this spring. Some of you may have noticed some trees along Phillies Bridge being taken down. This is to make way for grapes.
As always, if you have any questions give us a call (845) 255-0693.

Exciting news! Five baby goats were born over the past month. The nursery got too crowded so now they are in our "petting zoo" area. They are a lot of fun to watch! They will stay until the first of April and then be moved to greener pastures. Stop by and be entertained.
The winter showroom is open seven days. With Valentines Day just around the corner, pick up a peck of apples and make your special someone an apple crisp. It's easy. For a 13 x 9 pan, fill the pan with apple slices, drizzle a little apple cider over top. Then for the topping, mix together two cups of flour, one cup brown sugar, two sticks of butter, some cinnamon and a little nutmeg.
Spread this mixture over the slices of apples and bake (350 degrees) until apple slices are tender. (This is about twenty minutes or so.)
Enjoy your day! As always, if you have any questions you can call us at (845) 255-0693.

Happy New Year! We continue to pack the large crop we picked this fall. On the nicer days, the men are pruining the trees and removing trees which no longer produce a good apple. Our Farm Market is still open and we have a variety of apples to meet your needs. You will find us at the warehouse. We have a variety of apples, crisp and flavorful.
Store Hours: Mon.-Fri. 9:30am to 5pm, Satu. 9:30am to 4pm, Sun. 11am-4pm.
Looking for firewood? We can fill that need too. From the bundles for fireplaces to cords of wood for wood stoves, we have the quantity you require.
The temperatures are dropping. Fill your critter cages with straw to keep them warm. Bales of straw are on the porch of the store. If you need a large quantity, just give us a "heads up" and we can have it ready for you when you get here.
As always, if you have any questions, give us a call. We can be reached at (845) 255-0693.

December 2007 Farm Market
With the holidays upon us, you can still find your favorite apples for those pies, crisps and fresh eating. And don't forget the mulled cider! Firewood is available in three different quantities from fireplace bundles to cords of wood. Bales of straw sold too. Use it to mulch your strawberries or keep your family pet warm on cold nights.
The Farm Market is open daily. The hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturdays 9am to 4pm and Sundays 11am to 4pm. Check us out at our winter location. Look for the soda machine at the warehouse.
As for the rest of the farm, we finished covering the strawberry plants for the winter. The orchard is mowed to help keep the mice population down and work is underway to remove some older apple trees. There is always something to do.
As always, if you have any questions you can contact us at (845) 255-0693 or email debdressel@aol.com. Stay safe and warm.
