U-Pick begins September 8!

Dressel Farms will be open for apple picking beginning September 8. U-pick apples will continue Saturdays and Sundays in September and October. The hours for u-pick will be 10am to 5pm. Be sure to check the chart on the website for the approximate ripening times if you are looking to pick a certain variety. Or as always give the farm market a call at (845) 255-0693. We charge by the pound for u-pick apples. Buckets are provided. Picking poles (optional) have a $5 deposit which is returned when the pole is returned.

This weekend the McIntosh and the Gala apples will be ready to pick. There is a haywagon to get you to the trees or take a nice walk. The rows of trees are marked with the variety for your convenience.

The corn maze is ready and waiting for the adventurous. You can walk to the maze or take the haywagon. On your way, stop and check out the animals. The ducks are especially entertaining.

The Farm Market will be open with picked fruit, garden vegetables and the first cider of the season. (It is made right here on the farm from our own apples.) The ice cream shop will be open too with warm apple crisp.

Hope to see you soon!
