U-PICK APPLES: Coming to New Paltz to pick apples? We are open for u-pick apples Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 to 5. The cost is 95 cents per pound. We offer a hayride to the orchard and the pumpkin patch or you can enjoy a short walk if you're looking for some fresh air and a little exercise. The varieities that are ready this weekend to pick will be Cortland, Macoun, Empire, Mutsu, Golden Delicious.

U-Pick Pumpkins: Open daily 9:30 to 5:30. The cost is 45 cents per pound. There are large pumpkins and small pumpkins.

Corn Maze: Pretty easy to find. Free. Open 9:30-5:30. Place for a photo op too.

FALL FOLIAGE UPDATE: A customer asked if I would include this in our blog. So here goes. Some color is beginning to show on the mountains. I guess you can say that the fall is in the air! You can get a great few of the mountains from the pumpkin patch. Another great photo opportunity.

CHESTNUT UPDATE: A few chestnuts have started to fall. It will take a little work to find them. The cost is $4 per pound. Get a bag at either the farm market or the U-pick apple check-in.

FARM MARKET: We are well into apple cider production! Apple cider & apple cider donuts are waiting! Looking for HoneyCrisp apples? They are available by the pound or in baskets. Don't forget the garden fresh vegetables including our sweet corn. Fall decorations such as gourds, winter squash, cornstalks and pumpkins are available as well. The market is open daily 9:30-5:30.

QUESTIONS? Call the farm at (845) 255-0693 or email me at debdressel@aol.com.
