THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9

FUJI APPLE UPDATE: Last night, we checked on the Fuji apples. They DO have flavor and are ready to pick. They are plentiful so don't worry if you cannot get here this weekend to pick them. There will be Fuji to pick next weekend too.

U-PICK APPLE OPEN TODAY: Due to the Jewish holiday falling on a Thursday, we will be open today for u-pick apple. The varieities we are recommending for picking include Cortland, Empire, Macoun, Idared, Red & Golden Delicious and Fuji. The cost is 95 cents per pound. The hayride will be operating today as well. The hours are 9:30-5pm.

Chestnuts: There are chestnuts on the ground. Be sure to get a bag to pick into! The cost is $4 per pound. SHAKING THE TREES WILL ONLY GET YOU GREEN CHESTNUTS AT $4 PER POUND.

FARM MARKET: Open daily 9:30 to 5:30pm with our own fresh pressed cider, apple cider donuts, HoneyCrisp apples, winter squash, corn stalks, gourds and more!
