THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30

LOOKING FOR A PUMPKIN FOR HALLOWEEN? OR PERHAPS YOUR LOOKING FOR APPLES TO MAKE CANDIED APPLES! Check out the Farm Market for your Halloween needs. We've got pumpkins-both u-pick and already picked. We've got apples of many varieties to make candy apples. Having a party? Why not pick up some apple cider and apple cider donuts. Call and order ahead if you want to make sure there are enough to go around. We make our own apple cider from apple grown right here in New Paltz and Gardiner. The Farm Market is open 7 days a week from 9:30-5pm. It will move to its Winter Showroom around Thanksgiving and go into winter hours. Keep checking the blog for further updates.

U-PICK APPLES: Closed for the season. To those of you who braved Columbus Day Weekend, thank you for waiting in the lines. To all who came to pick for the first time, thank you for giving us a chance to serve you.

U-PICK CHESTNUTS: Finished for another year. What little is left will be gathered by the squirrels and chipmunks.

HAYRIDES & CORN MAZE: The haywagon will be put away for the winter soon. The corn maze may look okay from the outside but sources tell me it took a beating on the inside. The corn will be picked to feed the animals over the winter months. Some of the cornstalks will be cut down but some will remain to act as a barrier for blowing winter snow.
